Privacy & cookies
A plain description of what this site uses. It is a custom setup, not a certified consent platform, and this page is not legal advice.
Google Analytics (optional, off by default)
Google Analytics 4 counts page visits so I can see which writing and work people read. It does not load, and nothing is sent to Google, unless you choose “Accept analytics”. If you accept, Google sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and receives the page address (without query parameters), the page title, and standard technical data from your browser. Advertising features, ad storage, and ad personalization stay disabled.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. Rejecting after accepting stops Google Analytics, tries to delete its cookies on this site, and reloads the page.
How your choice is stored
Your accept/reject choice is saved in this browser’s local storage on this site only. If storage is unavailable, the choice lasts for the current page view and you will be asked again.
PostHog (product analytics)
The site also uses PostHog, hosted in the EU, to record page views and specific interactions (for example opening a case or using an interactive model). It runs in memory only: no cookie and no stored identifier, so each visit looks new. It does send those events, with standard technical request data, to PostHog’s EU servers.
Newsletter (Buttondown)
If you subscribe, your email address is sent to Buttondown, which manages the list and the confirmation email. You can unsubscribe from any email. Your address is never sent to analytics.
